Growing Through Generations

Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church is excited to invite you to our 2026 Family & Friends Weekend, a special celebration centered around this year’s theme, “Growing Through Generations.”

We are already in the process of planning an exciting weekend filled with fun, fellowship, and meaningful experiences for every generation. From our youngest children to our seasoned saints, there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate the blessings of family, friendship, and faith.

The weekend will kick off on Saturday, September 12, with our Community Block Party—a day filled with outdoor games, field activities, food, local vendors, entertainment, friendly competitions, and plenty of fun for the entire family. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, build new friendships, and enjoy quality time together in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Then, on Sunday, September 13, we’ll gather for an inspiring Family & Friends Worship Celebration, where generations will unite in praise, worship, and the preaching of God’s Word. Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a time of fellowship as we continue celebrating the relationships that strengthen our church family.

Whether you’ve been a member of Capernaum for years or you’re looking for a church home, Family & Friends Weekend is the perfect opportunity to experience the love, joy, and welcoming spirit of our congregation. Together, we’ll celebrate God’s faithfulness across generations and be reminded that His work continues through each of us.
